The whole fact that there is a white
ghetto goes overlooked. Appalachia truly is the closest thing to a third world
country that we have. To be in such a hardship to have to trade pop to gather
enough to live on, is a travesty. But, it isn’t easily changed; economic
hardship will always be here. There is just not enough money to change this
area. It always will be a White Ghetto.
